My girly xmas presents (Not) are finally fitted to the car

I have finally finished fitting the bits I got for Christmas to the 2. I was bought Front and rear EBC grooved discs and yellow stuff pads, front and rear braided hoses, rear wheel spacers and front and rear whiteline ARB with droplinks (rear ARB and all droplinks will be here end of this week hopefully).

Spent boxing day afternoon outside at parents (can nick any tools I don't have from dad LOL) fitting the brake discs and pads and they are looking good, The spacers need longer studs to fit them ,didn't finish until it was dark so pics are not great.

Then had to return to dads the following day as when I got home on Boxing day I had a very hot front passenger wheel as the caliper had seized, stripped that down, regreased and refitted, so thought would tackle the braided hoses    got most of the bolts off but the one on the pipe was seized on so took quite a bit of time and ***** to free and refit, one on the other side was worse and took the help of an oxy Acetylene torch to free it.
Finally got the fronts fitted and was set to do front ARB next day and the rear hoses. No pics as was too dark will take some and post later.
Yesterday tackled the front ARB and bushes and the rear hoses. All started well but one rusty bolt which caused a major issue, ended up with a bent bracket I couldn't remove one nut from. :eeek: Managed to get the ARB on and connect all bolts bar the bent bracket which took an hour of manhandling with a g clamp and mole grips to get it into place so could put the bolt in. Luckily the rear hoses were straightforward and fitted very quickly, bleed them to make sure all ok and jobs a good un.
Next wekk tackling the front and rear drop links and the rear ARB parts depending
Went for quick drive last night and it seems that the front ARB has got rid of the wobble I felt at high speed through the steering wheel and the discs have removed the judder under braking so she feels like a new car even more of a pleasure to drive
Now back at work  so not so good LOL
