Sorry i havent been on here for a while just been really busy and to tell you the truth forgot about it. :oops: :oops: :oops:

Well my car has been sitting around for ages as i was on my way to round 3 pro/street and i snapped 3rd gear out of the box. I have been rebuilding my box myself and have uprated the center plate as this is what make the GTR boxes weak. The gear started to seperate so that the teeth and only touching at the tips. The stock center plate is a cast peice of alloy and they tend to twist. I have got myself an OS giken billel centre plate and rebuilt the box with stock gears again.

The actual gearset. It has destroyed 3rd gear and the layshaft. No teeth left on either.


And all the little bits of metal left in the casing.

SUSPENSION

Tein HA coilovers
R33 GTR Brembo front brakes
EBC spottie rear disc's with Red stuff pads
17 x 9.5 wheel with 255/40/17 all the way round

Cant remember all of it

This little lot made 498.9 bhp at the hubs at 1.39 bar. 405 ftlb
at the hubs.

Polished all the engine up after the fire at Silverstone.

As soon as the box goes back in which i hope i get the parts this week i will continue on learning how to map the car. If anyone has any tips on mapping it would help alot.?

I got the datalogit software and an Innovate LM-1 wide band. The map only needs adjusting as i have gone from sard 700cc injectors to rc engineering 1000cc injectors. The map is too rich and i have lost around 100bhp at the fly.

Looking forward to the next pro/street to see if i can get a 10s pass.

Looks good mate, how difficult a job was it taking the gearbox apart ?
