Introductions

I have been selling bits and pieces and thought it was about time to treat myself, so you all should be among the first to know that I am the new owner of the offical M's Factory R32 in Europe which people were banging on about recently on other forums.

I have had the car for about a week or so and already have found some history in the vehicle which relates it to the original which was shown on Max power video in 2000 called Beast from the East.

The paint work under the existing paintwork reveals the colour and it is all over the body in some hard to reach places which could not be covered up, i was conerned with the find but after looking deeper I now realise what has happened.

Making investigations with the old owner of M's factory provided me with information there was actually 3 Demo cars which they had. The main Drag car and 2 built for Autosalon show etc in Japan and built to a slightly lesser spec but asthetically looking the same.

Up until around 2002 they were all in the Magical Purple flip colour, however mid 2002 they changed to white as you can see in the picture I have some archive photo from the time that they changed the colours.

I have attached the original in Japan, and also as the main drag car has been split up in Japan last year there are still components of it drifting around. I found the Bonnet on an auction some 6 months ago, see attached.

It is interesting going through the car as is and if I get more authentication from M's Factory owner in Japan, I may revert the car back to its original colour as personally it was one of the iconic cars which pushed me at the time more into these cars.

Onto the engine bay, you can see the ABS has been removed and some additional components have been put in and played with under the bonnet. There is no air conditioning even the interior of the car wiring for the heater matrix was removed.

With regards to engine it has been dyno in the uk with the following results thus far. Engine work is subjective but then if the wastegate is down at 1.25bar then it is probably a 2bar engine.

Power the RB2x is a T78 front end with a hybrid rear, we do not know what it is, at 1 bar it produces 550hp, 1.24bar is 636 and 1.5 max'd out the GTS air flow meters at 700

Since it being here i have not had a knock level of more than 26 which is more than acceptable as it means im a wuss and its not being pushed.....

Simply this car has just been put back together to come to the uk market and as M's Factory disappeared a few years ago it is likely that it slipped through without people realising its potential history.

Additionally the chassis is 1 of the first V-spec of 1,453 ever built after I looked at the Vin plate and did some background work.

I would post pictures but I can't seem to see how to do it, so ;

Hi Mark

Welcome to the site :)

All you need to do to upload pictures is to copy and paste the link from the photobucket address (or similar) This will automatically give the [img] tabs too.

I have to say that this is, by a country mile, my favourite R32. I remember the Max Power video and back in those days in was leaps and bounds in front of anything that I had seen in th UK.

Wide arch 32's....with George at DCY's and Gary at Japsalon two monsters taking shape, we could have three of the nicest wide body GTRs all in the UK at the same time.

Best of luck with it

right all done pictures uploaded.

As the paintwork is present underneath the white, I am tempted to put it back to the same colour as it looks like it is bursting to get out.

i have been looking out for a kit like this for ages.

Just so happens the car i got was good timing to get one of the actual 3.

Well i suppose there are only 2 now as the drag car got stripped from rumour which is a shame.
