Hi guys,
Well the last round at Brands saw the Essex Scooby Crew come out on mass to see me compete. I put on a partial show for them and i think they all loved watching me trying to push the Viper round the bends. But sadly after several blue flags for the Viper to move over and let me go, the intercooler pipe went bang when finaly passing. this was the end of my final.
However they enjoyed it so much, that they instantly started some fundraising to help me with the entrance fee for this year. So total respect and thanks to the ESC. Hence the car will this year be recognised as the ESC Race Car.
Firstly I need to thank Neil Kay (NeilK who is soon to start posting on here. and is another scooby owener), who has found him self designated team manager... Secondly Tiny & Phil who are helping out with contacting members and trying to organise a few bits and pieces to help make the ESC race car stand out this year.
MOCOM RACING - Where do I start???? Zak and of course Luke will again be looking after the car this year. Will be interesting as Zak is entering his own car . Zak helped me achieve the great results I achieved last year and helped me build a very capable and quick car. By no means did I give him the components to work with or an endless budget, but with what I gave him, he has produced a stunning car, that will be developed further this year and I hope I as a driver can do it justice.
In man ways the spec. should remain the same, but with small improvements to handling and reliability, we should see the full potential come shining through.
ABW - Darren and I have had a few discussions and some items still need to be agreed/clarified. But I am proud again to have Darren on my side. With his help we hope to develop some special unique components that will aid in handling and ultimately performance. So watch out guys for the TA developed products available for all you Classic drivers out there
AS Performance - Most of you will know Alyn @AS Performance, he posts as "stockcar" on here. He again has offered support and I truly value his opinion, as well as his support. Alyn will be helping out with certain consumables such as brake pads, roll cage foam, bonnet pins, brake callipers, etc. He helped me last year to source brake pads, disks, race clothing and not to mention my made to measure one off PINK ESC RACE SUIT. He is very knowledgeable on all things Scooby and will normally deliver off the shelf items as next day delivery at very reasonable prices. He advised me on Pagid RS29 pads and I honestly haven't looked back and can't think of a better all-round pad that I
