The car is under going a major change body and Engine spec and though would post the progress so far

It started like this










The Engine and interior was removed and of it went to the body shop and has came back like this












Next job to be done was to get the front end together and get the intercooler mounted



After the bumper had been made to fit Autobahn was sprayed on





The engine has been stripped here is a few bits





The block and heads have been sent of to be altered And will be back at some point next week and let the engine build commence

Had to make the inlet manifold look more attractive so a clean an a lick of high temp paint later




I will add to the post as the project goes on

have to agree with the white but each to there own , looks like it will keep you busy

A little update the engine is now coming on nicely

Picked up all the bits today to get the ball rolling

The cleaned bored block ready to receive its new internals




The new set of Mahle pistons


A nice set of rods




The heads have been ported and flowed







The flywheel has been lightened and balanced with the clutch assembly



The bearings fitted into the block


Have used the ACL bearings

The crank in place


Fitting rear oil seal



The pistons fitted in the block


The heads are being held in place by ARP head bolts



Fitted one cylinder head



Next is to get the engine on the stand and finish it of

I have to say the original colour with black bonnet and rear spoiler made it look like the fastest taxi in the UK and i quite like the new colour, it's different.

Pics are great though, and those shots of the ports and valves are a bit of intimate porno if you ask me :devil: but i look forward to next instalments with interest.

We picked up the Turbo that will be used today
