Good work Simon

You've picked a cracker by the looks of it, well done. I love the E36 but have always been put off by the wrong sorts who own them (saying that I now drive a mk2 :? )

The 3 litre is reckoned to be the better one. More reliable power figures and no double VANOS. The steering rack can be swapped for a later/Evo one I think.......a bit quicker if I recall correctly.

I followed the EVO magazine Ring car project and I was always envious of having a car with that power and handling. The NA power and easy to source parts make it a serious contender for modern-ish Ring Toy of choice and if a car is effective at the Ring it will be effective at pretty much any UK circuit..........you do realise you'll get your arse handed to you at Pickenham now though ;)

I look forward to following the project. Will be nice to see this one from the start.[/i]
