Well i must be getting old and sensible as i have bought a nice comfortable four door car to run the family around.
It is currently a special lightweight version with no interior or other important bits. I am going to put it back to it's former glory over the next few weeks if i can find the bits.

It will also be nice to drive over to the ring in and hopefully get back lol.

Perfect car for the Ring mate !!! I went in a 2 door version and it flew along the track. Probably the fastest car I have ever gone round a track in !!!
Did someone nick the bits lol.

Russ,
You are not the only one with an eye for a bargain.
The Skyline has gone away to RK to be mapped and some other work so i have room for a few weeks.
It is a 3.2 EVO with the 6 speed box. It was stolen recovered of course, but it seems it was stripped on the spot and not even driven! Only 72K from new and runs lovely so will be a nice car when done.
May just get it chipped and leave it at that

Russ,
You should know better than to ask how much a Trader pays for things

Update,
Nearly done,
I found a genuine front bumper in the right colour! :-D Not cheap though!
Correct rear lights (there are different types)
I have put a nice grey velour interior in for now untill i decide to go original leather heated etc seats or go lightweight seats at the front with harnesses and keep velour at the back (i have a nice pair of momos in stock)
I sprayed up some DTM mirrors i had in stock and i think they look ok. After all DTM does stand for

I love the saloons, maybe even more than the coupes, and you may well have a bargain on your hands there.
I look forward to seeing the progress. Please buy the Gruppe M induction [-o<

Yes,
I went for the saloon as they are meant to have a stiffer shell and it will be easier to get jnr in the back
Will go for a Pipercross element for now and keep it otherwise standard for reliability. I need one car that doesn't go wrong every week!
What do you recon about the boot. Leave it plain or spoiler?
Thought about one of these for a bit of high speed downforce whilst remaining subtle and not having to drill.
