We were just talking today about how far the car and us as a team have come over the past 12 months.
It has been a wild roller coaster ride massive ups and some stressful downs, that even tested our friendship.
The car has been pictured in Performance ford 2 months running and we will be making our first trip to the ring in 2 weeks time.

When we first built the car it produced
181 bhp 206 lb/ft

Inspite of the problems that we have had we have managed to eak out a bit more
202 bhp 233lb/ft

When you look at it like that - you've come on miles, well done boys!.

over the last 12 months has been a very steep learning curve but a good one at that
learning,teaching myself how to build a engine and maintaining it.
also having fun by making 2 bumpers for it that give 2 different purpasis
the sierra cosworth one is for track as with the splitter i made and fitted it gives down force
to the front of the car and gives a good flow of air under the car and to the brakes.
the escort WRC bumper is also used for track but on less demanding downforce tracks but its
best used for the 1/4 mile sprints as gives a vast more air flow to the intercooler.

as for the next 12 months there are alot of changes to come with a new engine that will
hopefully offer us bit more power.

You've done well and done it with the right attitude too in my opinion, prioritising fun and enjoyment over the stress and angst that can spoil the hobby we all pursue. I hope I haven't made light of your efforts, I do know how hard you two work at the project.
