My Upcoming project is to build a purpose built track / sprint car. Probable base will be a 205 Gti with the Mi16 lump or something similar.....
To fund this my beloved Evo 5 is up for grabs..........

Sounds interesting Benny.......surprised your beloved Evo is going but I happen to think you'll love the whole craic of an older track specific toy.

Stuart - The car only went on Saturday.....give me a chance!! :?
Wayne - It was my choice mate. Got a brand new company car so didn't use it nearly as much as it deserved. Was still gutted when the new owner pulled away in it Saturday......

out of interest, is there any reason you're not gonna spend a couple of grand on an EVO2?
having relevant knowledge and keep basically the same set up as the V ?
just curious as to why you want fwd thats all?
i have heard good things from these 205/Mi16 conversions though.

Having thought about it I am now going to be looking into an Evo 1 RS late summer, spend the winter making it a beastie and then terrorising the tracks with it next year.......... 8)
