Dyno Run results from Scoobycity Shootout

Post by duncan »

Got to Clive Atthowes in Norwich bright and early this morning and was second on the rollers to try and replicate my runs there last march as far as possible.

Weather Conditions at that time 8C and dry.

Car run with Vpower and 1 bottle of Octane Plus test done in 5th gear with DCCD locked.

Due to the nature of the fans at Clives it showed Charge Temps in excess of 45C during the power runs whereas on the road I would see no more than 20C for a similar power run.

Last year it produced 309 and 312lb/ft - this time I was hoping for 370 and 400 but got:

356bhp @ 5618
402.4 lb/ft at 3768

I believe that the charge temp issue will have wound back some advance at the top end as temps grew but overall I am delighted with the figures :D

28 runners in total i think and a good turn out of spectators too :D

I "think" i came away with best results but would have easily been beaten by MichaelH.
