todays work

Post by pablo »

a early start to the day and me and bart went over to top boss to have the brakes fitted :-D
so first off when we got there was time for a egg and bacon roll

this is where we were all day

got car on the ramps next to fitz aka top boss's blue 24v cosworth

fitz possing like a true man next to his pride and joy

car up in the air minus the bumper and wheels aslo took another pic of the exhaust

the aim for today was to fit the front and rear brakes from a scorpio cosworth
but only got the fronts done because they discovered a problem with the rear brakes

they were not actually working :o so the last 2 track days we done we were only braking on the fronts
after fitting the fronts fitz went a bit mental with the spray paint :-D

so after sorting the back brakes out the car stops very hard now
we also investigated the problem with the wastegate not ajusting the boost so a new one is on order.
so all in all we didnt get all the things done we wanted to but at least things are moving in the right direction
owe and we also had fun taking the mick out of bart all day calling him a mad man, mental and the list goes on

I kept thinking 'Top Boss', where do I know that name?

Having seen the main man, I know now.I remember reading about him and his firm a few years ago.........seemed like a really nice bloke and loved his Cosworths.......

Good news about the brakes Paul, well good as in you found out now and not too late :)

See you Wednesday bud :thumb:
