A nice little site but probably the most half hearted project thread of all time :D I must admit that I find your sense of humour endlessly amusing. (Shades of Blackadder)

I have to ask, having never owned one, but having driven many, just what is the 'thing' with BMWs?

Well, to address the former poiint - I did the whole cars subsection in around 40 minutes this afternoon, so it will become more detailed. By the way, for a cracking read, go to http://www.neil.nu and read any of the project thread, or the race diary - utterly fascinating. And you'll get to meet him in around a fortnight.

Well, I'm not that much of a BMW fanatic - I was much more into my Scoob. But the combination of wind in yer face and 320 nicely delivered horsepower is pretty beguiling... The other thing is image - I am a sales director. I can get away with a nice shiny M3, but a tarted up Scoob to take a senior telecoms exec for lunch...noooo, not the done thing at all, sirree. I have to spend my car allowance on something vaguely business-ey.

And recently I've just been buying cheap stuff to make some pocket money... :-)

Oh how times change. Neil comments on trying to work with a 14.4k modem...oh bless :) I've just found Project 635CSi, I may be a while reading this. Thank you for the recommendation.
