Another busy weekend inspite of the weather
We decided to finally get the rear and front strut braces sorted. Both of which to be fabricated by me.
Also the harnesses needed to be installed.

That's the easy part, as we cannot buy a front strut brace i am having to fabricate one, so first stage is to get an idea of size and angles required.
That just leaves programming, cutting, bending and welding to be done this week, then it's over to Bart to be painted and fitted :-D

Hey why not Bart's home made induction kit does exactly the same job as a K&N 57i gen2 kit yet only cost

You may see this as cheating, but if you would like to borrow my custom front strut brace for a measure up, just let me know. I know I run the 2.9 but if it helps, you are more than welcome :thumb:

Thanks for the offer Stuart, but all the measurements are now sorted. It's just a question of finding the time at work to make it.

I was going to say that I have one here that you can have. But looking at your pics you need the same style one as the Cossies that go straight across. The OMP one I have wont fit as it goes back towards the bulkhead and doesnt clear the brake fluid resevoir. If your going to the meet this month I can bring it anyhow?
Oh and the car looks good BTW :-D

as you say its the brake resevour that gets in the way and with the intercooler pipes in the way as well owe the fun of building cars.
yeah if you could bring it could get some ideas from it if not made by then thanks
