It's getting there:hurray:. Most of the work that's going on is just tidying up things that we had wanted to do for a while, plus hopefully a couple of improvements.

Another long day at 'Tntracing'

Plan was I would leave work early so that we could set off for the 60 mile drive to Gordons at 06.30. To strip the gearbox and then take it over to Frozen Solid in Huntington near Cambridge. So far so good.

Arrived at Gordons just before 8 to find him not there. So we waited till 8.15 then Alan text him, no reply. So as I was phoning him he turned up saying he totally forgot as he had to be somewhere else this morning. 'Oh shit we thought', but then he open up his unit and said Emma would be down to wait with us till we finished. Result

Have you ever stipped a gearbox down to each individual cog. He hadn't before today:smash:. Anyway 2 hours later it was stripped and cleaned. So off we set for the next leg of the journey

Another 1hr 15 min. driving in this heat and we finally arrived, with the help of Alans built in sat nav not once lookinbg at the map or checking directions.

I've now been up for 21 hours and I don't care. The gearbox is finally being done and the job list is seriously getting shorter.

At some point we will get round to taking some pics to show some of the jobs that have been done. Which include tidying up/sorting out..

1. The old plated sunroof, (looked crap)
2. New light weight door cards
3. Bucket passenger seat
4. General tidy up of interior

Nothing goes easy for you guys......I would have jacked it ages ago but Team TNT keeps plugging away :cheers2:

A nice short list. Remind Bart that job number 4 does not mean using a rattle can and blind faith ;)

After Anglesey and his little spin the petrol tank was looking a bit scared so he decided to paint in:banghead:. His new best friend is a tin of stone chip guard and that was it. Rear bumper off, exhaust off, wheels off and he was happy:willy_nilly:
Does look a lot better though.

As it was so hot today Alan decided it was too hot to work on the car, you could barely touch the thing without burning yourself. So we did of light work in Alan's garden.

Alan keeps on about wanting a chainsaw....No chance....but when he moved into his house he found the next best thing in the shed:headhack:
