Think I'm guilty of similar whinges myself, without feeling the need to check pretty much every page of my thread of course!!!

And don't forget I bought the GTR to "hang the bits i had on it and then just use it on track", I think it's 3 years until I was able to do that i think....

I think Monster's post about better to drive than have it on axle stands is the most honest, and best piece of information I have read on here in about 16 years ;)

The initial test fit in daylight this morning went well. The plan is to trim the excess off so that it follows the line of the door and also to take a small amount off the lower edge and rear edge so that it sits flush to the body. This will then be held in place with rivets and obviously sprayed satin black to match the rest of the car

I think 12" wide rims with an offset of ET +20 might be pushing it a bit so I'm going to look into Christian's suggestion of going for 11" wide rims on the rear. As long as the 11" wide rims can take a 305 slick they'll be fine

I think 305 wide on an 18" x 11" rim should be ok, according to this chart for 'Michelin' tyres, the 305 will fit though it's not the ideal size

yeah these tyre size/rim size guides are interesting as they can vary. But it looks like 11 would do and ultimately you have my old tyres and i ran 11s. Spose it depends if there's a benefit in getting 11 or 12 in terms of price or delivery time etc as the rubber you have will fit both hoop sizes.

btw apparently rota dont do GTR-D in green chief :( Confirm yourself but thats what I was told...

Cheers bud, I thought that might be the case, I think I'd need to get me a couple of cans of that Kermit piss and get them sprayed up to match

On a side note, I'm just working out the cost comparisons between completing the build of that forged VG with your heads that's currently sat in the workshop and the sourcing/shipping and dropping in of a VH45DE. JPP don't have anything in the UK but there's a JDM Infiniti VH45DE in the US that I've asked for more details about and have also been in discussions with Eric at PerformanceVH in the States to seek his advise.

We'll see eh

Clearly the inner arches are still in need of some minor knocking about but I think all in it will turn out ok

It'll be interesting to actually measure it, I think it's 60mm wider than stock on each side
