We've had to put things back a couple of weeks with the new car, partially due to the weather but mainly due to Alan needing to fit a new engine in his car. The plan at the moment is to fly down to Bristol on saturday to collect an engine that has only done 20,000 miles since being fully rebuilt by a guy we know well. Then fit it either sunday or the early part of next week.

After that we will be ......let me get this straight..........

Removing the rear beam and axle from the new car and fitting it to Alans GT. Upgrading his car from rear drums to disc as he has already upgraded the fronts.

Then fit the rear beam and axle that Alan has painted to the new car thus retaining the scorpio cosworth rear brake conversion.

He his also planning on fitting his new Black Diamond High Torque clutch whilst the engine is out, his superchip and power boost valve.

I think thats about it......oh almost forgot, he also upgraded the suspension but I'm fairly sure he was talking about changing it again as he wasn't happy.
