Just like to say a big Thanks to Wayne, the unseen 3rd member of Team TNTRacing and Alans brother. I recently found out that he has been off wheeling and dealing uising the name of TNTRacing:willy_nilly:
But in all fairness the boys done good, really good:nod:

The first of hopefully several things to come through from his deals were these.

A set of Dunlop Formula R DO1J's. Only used twice:thumbs:

They are superb tyres and seem to last much better than R888's, regardless of age (and those ones will be quite old as they haven't been made for a couple of years at least)

Good work Wayno

Yet again we had problems with the transponder:banghead:. The only thing that we can think of that's causing this is the amount of underseal on the car and the type of paint on the interior. So it's outside of the car from now on.

In the run up to the next round we've been going over all our problems, mistakes and the things that we've done well. It had also been mentioned in another thread that the thing we lacked the most was technical support and seat time for Alan.

Seat time has now been arranged for Alan. The sole aim for this is to get Alan used to the sound of the engine and changing gear to the shift light.

It's unfair for us to expect Gordon to close shop for a day to come to the rounds. So myself and Alan will be getting some basic training with the omex. This will hopefully enable us to monitor the engine and spot / rectify minor issues early and on the day, instead of week later after talking about them.

Well, thats the plan anyway:driving:

i must say the video footage ive watched is quite good as it shows ther speed thru the corners so i have a base to work with when out on track.

On the Saturday night of the Anglesey double header the main topic of discussion was what we were going to do next year. Time Attack or just track days:frown:

Time Attack

So this winter will see some very targeted changes to the car to take it away from what we would class as a club car.

1. Change front suspension
2. Fuel swirl pot set-up
3. Weight reduction
4. Bit more power

The swirl pot set up will give a bit more protection to the engine plus will also reduce the weight we carry around by approx 30kgs.
