These are the clamps:

They are two piece, the outer band has a punched thread for the 'worm' to grab. The inner band is grooved to hold onto or go over the hose where it goes over the beading on the pipes (or either side of it) From the looks of them it will be perfect. The outer band has a kind of corrugated section to allow for some heat expansion.

I dont know on prices Gerry - I think Eddy is going to put some GB prices up soon, but they are not cheap. I just wanted to solve the issue for good and I think these will do it.

They seem to have been designed specifically to combat the problem of hoses leaking/blowing off at high pressures.

Logically the common sizes are best value. The smaller sizes will do water pipes of course.

IC hose and clips on - can get them REALLY tight so no chance of them shifting

I have also moved the CAI a little bit further down into the inner wheel arch as it was pushing the arch liner out and causing that to rub on the tyre on left hand bends... now with a small extension piece to the tube it sits much further in and gives enough clearance for it to clear it. (hopefully anyway)

Very few jobs to be done prior to KH now:

1. mapping - booked 7th May
2. fuel swirl pot
3. sort electrical gremlins out
