It was very tempting to do that ... but i spoke to a lot of people about whether the existing brembo set up could be made to work and it was felt that they could, with some decent discs and pads. (plus it leaves me some money to actually do the track days ;) )

If it doesnt work then I will change them, but in the meantime these are practically the same price as two new discs from subaru.

Yeh fair enough, I know the feeling, i really want a new brake kit but due to the excesses of cash spent elsewhere I need to just chill for a bit and see how the new DBA's work with the DS2500's.

They were okay at the ring, the only point where they are grumbling is down towards Adenau bridge, otherwise they are fine, but I think a proper trackday will overload them, as I don't tend to just pottle round withion the limits  I like to get carried away!!

just been reading this coming on well :thumb: did you manage to reach your 380bhp first marker point or managed to get it dynoed since the new work and remap?

Further Update

Post by duncan »

Fuelling being sorted next Tuesday at Mocom Racing with 255 Fuel Pump and Fuel Pressure Regulator going on.

Image

We should be able to run 4 bar static fuel pressure through it then and put back in the boost that we had to take out last time :D

Also fitting an Oil Catch Can to hopefully strip the intake air of oil to further prevent detonation and allow a bit more advance 8)

After this work has been done I will see about getting up to Clives for a dyno session to see how it compares to previous.

I dont think it will make a huge difference this time in driveability but it will give it some headroom on the duty cycles of the injectors. It was running at 102% at snetterton before christmas :o It should bring that down to a safer 90 odd.

Catch Can from Gary at APT. Gone for a cusco one.

The hyperflow kit from Zen looked the best tbh though but would nto fit my car... nice baffled catch can and battery clamp in one.... not cheap though :o
