I put an induction kit on this Silvia for about 20pence! Was an old cone filter and filed it to shape so it would wedge into the AFM!
That pipe would be ok but i am not sure the airflow would be to good with all those ridges, not sure also how you could join it at the end as you could not use a jubilee clamp.

that tube is ridged on the out side but the the inside of it is smooth but with little shallow rids that will not make that
much difference. i have used this stuff for air flow for brakes and a direct feed for my induction kit
as pablo has already stated. you can use a jubilee clamp but may have to cut slight bit from the inside
to fit but will still be stiff.
the pipe i use has sustained speeds of 130mph with a 90 degree bend in it.
