OK then, what's what.

1. Firstly, ohhhh what a lovely bit of popping and banging under lift over
2. Alan mate the shift light does work, well the blue one does. Either that or i've bust a blood vessel in my eye
3. My left leg is hurting.

Well the weight has truely shocked me, even though it got about an extra 15lts of fuel in it.

1280kgs:confused:

Time to get the grinder out me thinks.

Was thinking the same thing mate, but, we now have to get anal about this. Every little thing we find that can be removed has to. Just a pity we can't get fibreglass doors for this.
I will weigh it one more time with a different guy on but i do think we need to cut, cut, cut and when we've finished cut out some more.

Stop sulking and answer your phone.

the reason i dont believe that figure is for the following reasons.

1. removed all sound deadning from this car and not last,
2. carbon rear wing instead of a metal one,
3. half the dashboard is out,
4. fibreglass front end other car had standard bumper with metal beam in it
5. last of all we have swapped from a V6 iron engine to a 4pot half iron half alloy engine.

I have to agree with you mate as these are the figures we've got back.

1. Herbie 1280kgs
2. Damian 1280kgs

So question. The weigh bridge i'm using is only for lorrys, ie Eddie Stobart size, so could this be a factor. Will have to find another weigh bridge but in the mean time lets get weight out.

:D :D Hahahahhahah :D :D

How heavy do you think the Dagenham Destroyer was?

Go on..............guess. I'll admit it wasn't road legal but I reckon it could have been for an extra 50kgs tops! Would there have been much difference in weight in my poverty spec engine and brakes??
