One positive from the day was that car handled a damn site better than it did at Ford Fair back in August. We now have the balance back in the car. We made changes to both the rear and front of the car, that on paper shouldn't have worked as well as they did.
Just gives us more to think about whilst trying to find the setup that Alan wants.

after the slight problem at snetterton we have now bought an alloy rad.
its a brand new one that was well cheap duo to having some damage
on it but having looked at the location of the damage its not going alter
the performance of the rad.

Image

this is the damage on the rad, the bracket is were the fans connect
but this is simple enough to get round.

should hopefully have no cooling issues now :drool5:

The car seems fine after Alan attacked it with his finger.

Talk about milking it:bart:. He came over today and had me changing the wheels on the car while he stood laughing, then we noticed that 1 of the pipes from the oil cooler was leaking so Alan took great pleasure in explaining to me how I was going to change it.

He couldn't start the car, pick up a trolley jack, pick up a wheel or anything but as soon as i said he needed to take it for a test drive....oh....then his finger was fine:driving:

How heavy is the car?

Something that me and Alan disagree on...so we've had a bet!

Pablo - 1240kgs
Bart - 1205kgs

The bet

If i'm closest Alan will mow my front and back lawns x4
If Alan is closest I will wash Alans car and the race car x4 (each)

Alan hates garden stuff and I hate washing cars.

Off to weigh the car now.
