Having Gary out on your car is worth every penny, my paint was a bit swirly before he did it ... now lovely .. did you see the pics on Gary's site?.

I will have the car resprayed in the next year or so as I still have some niggling little tiny stone chips on the bonnet, but i'm getting there.

Next main task for me is finding a wheel refurbisher who can guarantee they can do a polished lip that will last .. got a quote yesterday from a company in london so may look further into that.

Yes, I've scoured the local vicinity, I've used a few of the local guys but alas no-one can either do my wheels and rims or if they can will be prepared to say they'll last more than 5 mins.

I had a set done on my previous car - within a 3 months the corrosion had started.

Ok, finally got a pic of my new harnesses ...

The drag night has now got me requiring a new Clutch .. well a better clutch as the exedy single just isn't up for the launch.

Yes Ben,
I have a single Exedy in Mine and it is dead too, but it has lasted three years of fairly hard driving at circa 350 bhp and a some 1/4 mile/0-60 (12.76 and 3.95) runs so should be ok with the power you have.
Will you let me try it compared to mine mate.
Perhaps i can help you with your technique.

My clutch has only done 2000 miles but it's never been right from day one - I went back to abbey who fitted it, they said it was fine - BUT - it was not a good clutch for launching, they said 3/4 launches and it will be dead.

I only went for the single as I didn't have the pennies at the time for a twin.

I'll get Gary to sort me out in the next few months with either an exedy twin or fixing my old OS-Giken rattle monster :) ... and maybe go for a nismo slave at the same time ...

I could launch fine on the OS-Giken, there was no slippage at all - except it failed after doing 5 Qtr's back to back.
