Thank God for that!
I was worried about delamination.

Re: Hoodedreeper's MX5 The Purple Monster
April saw the car attend the MX5OC meet and took a trip down to Southwold. An impressive 88 MX5s were on display

I've been after a pair of Zoom Side Repeaters for awhile,i remembered my friend Dan had some so a cheeky message over Facebook got me a pair for free! The plastic washers were missing, but upon looking at them they didnt look too bad with them missing! So they were promtly fitted and wired up

Since owning the car and buying the front bumper,i was always under the impression it was a Racing Beat Type 2. It wasnt until i was browsing through a bumper topic on Club Roadster then i noticed its actually a Forte bumper

The JDM parts collection continues...

KG Works Interior Handles

Also re-fitted my leather door pulls

Random Beading photos

So last year I got ripped off by James Sommerin for a product which was his take on the Garage Vary rear light panel. After paying him and him doing a runner with my money, him not answering any messages/calls I got to the point where I knew I was fighting a losing battle and knew I wasn't going to see the panel or money.
Around new year time I happen to spot a group buy from Rev9 for their famous Garage Vary light panels. So straight away I put my name down and paid the deposit and paid the full amount a few weeks later. The group buy didn't end till the end of March. The panel got shipped from Japan at the beginning of April and it landed on my door step today! (After paying a hefty Import Tax charge!)

Norfolk Fives (part of the MX5OC) organized a Pirelli evening at STS Tyre Pros. The guys and gals from Pirelli and STS created 5 sections for talks/demonstrations including revving the nuts off a 2013 Porsche Carrera S

You may remember waaay back at the beginning of the build that I had gotten my hands on a Fujitsubo 4-1 Manifold. I finally dropped it off to my friend James to have it heat wrapped. Hes done an fantastic job with it,and if anyone in the Norwich area needs anything heat wrapped, drop me a message

There is only one cross over on the manifold, everything else is separately wrapped

MX5OC Meet

It was that time of the year again for Modified Nationals at Peterborough Showground. My club had a strong 40 cars on the club stand which is the biggest turn out we've had! I was picked for the Top 50 which was outside the main Exhibition Hall.

After a heavy night of drinking on the Friday,i managed to gain enough energy to drive over to the Top 50 Plaza. At this point the whole show ground including the camp site was water logged due to the heavy rain the night previous. It took a good hour or so to get from the Camp Site to the Plaza,at which point the car was quite filthy, and cleaning a car in the rain is not fun
I get a phone call once i was parked asking where i was. I was told to drive around the back of the Main Hall as i was needed inside! I got the car parked and cleaned,at which point i was still struggling to let it all sink in.
I was parked infront of one of the main doors next to some quite recognizable cars. I'll let the photos do the talking

So the show came to an end, couldnt have asked for a better weekend. The car got a tonne of attention and it was great meeting new and old faces
Lets see what next year brings!
A while ago i stumbled across a photo on Instagram,i took a liking to the composition and location and needed to replicate it with the Monster. The original photo was this:

I showed the photo to my Girlfriend who had stumbled across a location on her travels. So we took a drive out this evening to have a look, here are the results.

Totally awesome
That car is a real credit to you and you must be well proud of how it's all come together. Can still remember when you got it. Fantastic job

Chris
That's a really good update and some really nice upgrades to the car now too....the wheels when you first fitted them I wasn't keen on but now I think they really suit the rest of the car, there are some really nice personal touches on and in the car it great that you have now a clear idea in your mind as to where your going with the car.
Looks very ver good well done mate !
