Been there with Fiat head gaskets.... had a cinquecento which had a T15 turbo on it which burnt head gaskets for fun can do a cambelt in under an hour and a head gasket in a couple of hours now :D Eventually got fedup with head gaskets and skimmed the pistons to reduce the CR, and it then melted a piston lol! Anyway, plan is still to have a go at the car this weekend so hopefully massive update over next few days (plus never know I might even finish off my wiring lol)

Had a lambda boss put into the decat pipe;

And a quick shot when it was back on the ground as well :D (Note the great weather i've been working in heh)

Will hopefully have a couple of evenings this week to put finishing touches to the wiring of the wideband and then put all the trim and other bits back together...

Oh and I need to bleed the 4wd and power steering too :)

Just need to refit pass seat and then bleed the attessa and power steering, then all is good for a proper test :-)

So not much posted as I've been too busy enjoying having the car again (still dont like the noises the spec twin plate makes but its been driven hard, driven soft and everything inbetween and still works so meh)

Bought some more goodies just because I was in a good mood;

Rota Grid 18x10 et15 in matte bronze but need to wait for them to arrive from Denmark;
Image

Carbon a-pillar gauge pod, but not too happy with the fit so not sure i'll use it;

Otherwise just enjoying having the car back on the road...

Have been spending my time logging data with the datalogit and getting my head around how it all works etc :) No pictures of the install but basically its all hidden with only a usb cable visible to plug into the laptop...

Not made any changes to the map yet though bar retarding timing a tiny bit at 5,5k as I was getting the tiniest bit of det there - will get there though... used to work in data analysis roles so have good experience of playing with numbers in excel which will be put to good use to best adjust the map :)

Oh forgot to mention as well after fixing it, everytime I drove it plumes of smoke were coming from the rear turbo - was very worried but after removing and replacing the rocker cover (with lots of instant gasket) there was no smoke so must've somehow developed a leak over the past x months - easily solved though :D

When you say you don't like the noise the clutch makes - you mean the rattle when the pedal is depressed? ... i.e. the normal noise a twin makes?.

It rattles when i'm not on the clutch and on light load at low revs in higher gears and on changing gears makes zoidberg style noises

Although the other half thinks it sounds like an angry transformer bless her heh :D

Do need to check all the rubber boots at some point though to make sure its getting enough sound deadening as lots of road noise too
