Another busy day today, had a few bits and pieces to sort out. So first truck job was to have dads side steps off. So thats all done now, and looks alot better without them.
Now, mudflap progress. Would've had them done today if it wasn't for removing the number plate bracket and the light fading quickly. Anyway, some photos. :)
Marked and drilled the plates out.

Cut them out with a cutting disk then profiled them on the vertical sander.

Coated in grey primer.

Coated in black and lacquered.

I know it's a short wheel base, but did you not have enough room for both roof bars? ;)

Sorry to hear about the rad; did you have another one or was that really bad news?

I would've put on where the rear windows are, but they're solid seals and I have no rain gutters. Which is a pain, so in time i have another idea on how to mount them, but that's for another day. :)

Nope, don't have a spare. Will have to order one. Just been out and removed it, which oddly enough was actually enjoyable.

Needless to say that the mudflaps can sit in the corner until this is sorted out.

Nah just bought an OE quality replacement mate :) as long as it keeps it cool. then that's all that matters :)

Well another update. The rad is in, however we still have a major problem and it needs a replacement head and gasket... So it will be going back to the dealer as it's still under it's warrenty to have it replaced. However that means that I won't have the truck until Janurary 2012 :( but he will be giving me another Pajero to run around so all is not lost if/when the snow comes :smash: So that's where we stand at the moment. At least I can resume with the mudflaps to keep me occupied. :) Also removed the mock wood effect stuff from everywhere inside so it's back to the original plastic that I much prefer.

It certianly is mate, but it is fortunate that it's happened now and not down the line  besides, if there is anything else thats knackered that can be changed for free too ;)

Nah, the motor itself is fine mate. was running couple days ago. but now the chambers have filled up with water so it wants to turn over but doesnt fire. Ho hum :) will have to get it taken up there and dropped off so i can collect my other one to run about.
