Hi all, it's been a while since I have posted any updates so I thought I should stop by a tell everyone how I've come along.

In the past year, my goal has been to make the car safe for track days but fine to travel to work in as well (this is my daily driver). Being an American, it has always been my dream to own a Skyline, so no dodgy parts have been fitted to the car and attention to detail has always been key!

So here goes,

This is how I bought the car back in 2007. Only being driven on U.K. shores for 500 miles, I had to have it!

After a month of saving and waiting for the right wheels come around, I was at the right place at the right time! I purchased some 18X9.5" Work Meister S1 two piece wheels

After...

I then fitted a Nismo front tower bar, Splitfire coil pack, GReddy 10 row oil cooler and filter relocation kit, GReddy clear cam cover and a few other Nismo parts to dress up the engine bay a bit.

This is how the car stood for most of 2008...

Sparco 4 point camlock harnesses were fitted for the pass. and driver's sides
Image

New HKS pulleys were also added
Image

The brakes were then replaced with a full R34 GT-R Brembo setup

After everything seemed to be going smoothly, some ***hole decided to key my hood in my neighborhood. With that being the final straw with how nasty my paint was starting to look, I decided to get the car fully re-sprayed. So off I drove to Knight-Racer in Feb., 2009. While it was in the shop, I decided on some genuine Trust spats and a new N1 front bumper.

This is how the car came out as most of you have seen...

I also had the wheels refurbished by Chris at H-Tech as the chrome that was originally on the Works was no match for the rain!

I've also added a few bits to the interior. New Nismo titanium gear knob, new Sparco 330mm suede steering wheel with Nismo horn, Nismo cigarette lighter and probably some other things that I'm forgetting.

My next plans are sitting in my garage at the moment waiting to be fitted,

Apexi Power FC D-Jetro (actually at Ben's, LOL)
SARD 800cc injectors
ARC induction box
HKS 280 l/hr fuel pump
New CAS

The car was dyno'd at APT in Dec. of 2008 at 545.9BHP @ 1.2Bar (low boost). Hopefully after all is said and done, I'll see a healthy figure of around 650-675BHP, and then off to the tracks for some fun!!

I'll be sure and update this more often! :-D

Cars looking great, loving the colour, is it the original colour or something new????

I might be alone on this one but i thought the car looked the nuts on the R34 wheels.... not a big fan of the new ones.

650-675bhp is going to feel immense....

I have said it before and I'll say it again, this is my favourite R32 right now. I love the despoilered look, I love the stance, I love the N-1 bumper, I love the 500+ horsepower.

Playing devils advocate, I do see why people have a split opinion on the wheels. I agree that the Works are a hugely desirable option for any serious JDM (Japanese domestic model) fan but, personally, I am not sure about the gold centres with the silver bodywork. Maybe the darker anthracite of the original R34 wheels may suit the car more??

Taste is such a personal thing........to each their own.

Maybe I'll have enough money to buy the car off of you Bryan when you get relocated again............maybe I'll paint the fellas and we can see :)

Stunning car. Looking forwards to seeing Dave's with this and Ben's real soon.

Yeah I'll add to all the positive comments, its looks superb, sounds and goes well !!!

Do like the new wheels over the R34 ones. Silvers a difficult colour to get right with things but the gold suits it.

The only thing I would prefer is the standard GTR or even the R34 wing.

Great work though mate.

Thanks all for the comments! :-D

As everyone has said, the wheels are VERY difficult to match up to a silver car. IMHO, If I had no budget, I would've gone for the Volk TE-37 Time Attack editions (black with red).

Gareth, I was thinking about putting a wing on it when I had it in the shop, but when I decided to go with the rear spats I didn't want to take away the focus of the original lines of the car.

In reality, I don't have much longer with the car. If my time over here (and my pockets) were indefinite, then I would've taken my time and had everything my way. Four years just goes by way too fast! :(

On a positive note, I'll be getting some quality parts fitted soon and new rotors and pads are now also added to the list!!
