This week i have been fabricating all the little bits needed to run the S13 turbo on a S12. So much for the legendary forum 'bolt on' swap!! :roll:

I had to make this pipe up so the oil return pipe will work, its a combination of a Skyline one and a S12 one;

This is the pipe i had to make up to bolt to the S13 turbo outlet, i have left it short so i can build off of it to run an intercooler. Note the ring of weld to stop the pipe blowing off when we are running 3bar of booooost! :P

Thats about it for now.

Suppose i really should have done a thread like this for my Skyline as it has had so much work go in to it and i have not done a project thread.

I have an S13 intercooler going cheap if you want it Ian. ( That's my definition of cheap though, not yours ;) )

Coming on nicely.

Thanks Stu,

I have a R33 GTR intercooler on its way to me now. That was my definition of cheap! :-D

Going to be having a huge measure up and then probably give Eddy a ring for all the pipe.

Got the old girl running the other week after we put it all back together with the new turbo and custom oil feed etc.

The only thing we could find to link the turbo to the inlet now that it has all been cut about was Niks vacuum cleaner hose, it was a sacrifice we had to make!!

The noise it made with a bigger turbo and just an elbow on it was so raw!!!

We have found out that the intercooler we bought is from a R34 GTR v-spec!

The vacuum hose certianly is delivering HOT boost untill we get the intercooler fitted and connected up. Not sure my other half likes the fact that the vacuum is now a part of the S12 and she needs to ask for it back to use the hoover.

Bryan at the moment the only practising i have been able to do was digging a hole in niks driveway with the welded diff!!

Its getting a bit bad just always working on the thing and not being able to drive it but we have figured that we should get all the jobs done over the winter so it will be a fully built car by the time the events start kicking off again.

With the way it is looking now i think it will be hard to keep it road legal for much longer. :?
