Turbo modded, just needs fully welding.

Also got the turbo a nice little jacket to keep her warm this winter :D

Changed the routing of both the turbo oil feed and the PAS HP line, so these will be remade. Dropped a couple of items at the coaters this morning too.

Getting closer :D

You have built a fucking epic car and contributed to the forum throughout its build
That and the fact that you have just minced off to the Ring, lapped hard and not once bragged. Fair play

Lol, cheers mate. Genuinely quite humbled by that. Mucho appreciated.

No point braggin dude, aint got much to brag about. Went out there. Murdered my tyres without murdering myself and had a jolly good time haha.

Hopefully like to be going back with the Impreza in the spring. Although ive decided the Impreza wants a minimum a rear cage before i go. Not that i'll be pushing that hard. But even a little off in a 5-600bhp car isnt going to be pretty.

So might just save my bacon!

I know my 32 was/is a far older design than your STi but having seen the way that they fold up in crashes, I really wouldn't use one in anger without one. You know as well as I do that the Ring can bite so very hard, with a cage (even a partial one) at least you and the car stand a better chance of retaining shape after a bump. If it's removable, at least you can keep your OE plus look too.

Aim is to have the car in a finished state. ie GT3 RS/ Megane R26R. So probably opt for a rear cage that should help in the event of the worst mate.

That way the car retains its road manners, factory feel and finish. I know teh car wont be my daily drive but you look a royal cock clambering over a cage at your local gas station haha.

Think special edition Impreza and we should be somewhere close...

I hope :D

Turbos been welded and now fitted along with the downpipe and wastegate. Shortened the inlet hose slightly for better fit. Hopefully get header tank bracket back this week from the coaters and then that can also go on. Oil separator is currently being made. Will size up for the last boost pipe this week too.

My recent pics have been from my iPhone. Here are some new snaps with a real camera lol. So close now its getting frustrating. lol.
