Oi, less of the Git you! :D

Nothing a good ol polish up won't sort out.

Steve

My car needs a hand grenade fuzzed at it so that someone can start again. I'm not that worried though, in less than a month the work will start to resurrect the old warhorse. It won't match Geoffs (or yours for that matter) but it will at least look better than it does at the moment, the fastest skip in England :D

Thanks for the comments guys

Matt is doing the photo shoot on Tuesday and I am praying for sunshine. I am under strict orders from Steve not to drive it and get it dirty untill then  I don't know yet what issue of Jap Performance it will be in, but I will of course shout from the roof tops when I know

The pictures don't do the shine justice and helps to take your eye off the stone chips. This is no show car, it gets driven on a daily basis and has done over 3,500 miles on the new engine since the end of February, including Snetterton and drag racing at Shakespear county raceway.

There are still a few bits that need doing, as these projects are never finished

Oh and thanks for the ride in your R33 Steve, nearly 700 ponies certainly pushes you back in the seat :-D

I haven't had neither the time, nor the money to do much in the way of trackdays this year  , but I have finaly got round to replacing the Mocal 19 row oil cooler with a Setrab 34 row. This will hopefully address the high oil temps that I get on track, or a spirited road blast  I did a car limits day last Friday with GTROC at North Weald airfield and with just 4 runs on the handling circuit, saw the temps up to 120 degrees

Image

I mounted the cooler as high as I could, but the airflow it is still obstructed by the FMIC. I also found that the FMIC has a crack in it, so that will be an excuse for a larger one

Well that wasn't a five munite job to fit the recovery point:o

Should I be unfortunate to find myself in the kitty litter, at least I can get pulled out without destroying the front bumper now.
