I am a post whore and it's a pink car...........what did you expect? :)

You wait til I get the roller out, hole cutter and the MDF :D

Harry.........once I know it's safe, it will be christened, don't you worry. MOT first at sasman's (I should have asked first) and then get something booked.

Is that you, the car or track-days look forward to seeing it in the flesh as they say

OK, I should have done this earlier but I thought you'd have kept it quiet in your usual secret squirrel fashion. But as you hasn't here it comes as promised:

DISCLAIMER: Opposite Lock Imports or the Directors and associates thereof (i.e Me!) accept NO liability whatsoever for any bad that may befall pinky at any time.....

Glad you're excited about getting her mate, as I said I sourced this car about 8 years ago and she's done dom proud ever since, obviously apart from when he was throwing

The engine is exactly the same as the WRX chap, no forged internals as stock on a pre 97.

Jap Wagons also came with TD04s, check to make sure its a TD05.

Not doubting the owner for one second but if this is a genuine STi, it should have forged internals and a TD05 as standard :driving:
Darren @ Whifbitz changed the front shocks, the front bushes, rear drop links, track rod ends & rear pads before last years MOT at a cost of over

Cheers Christian  The trailer is more because I don't want to rush insurance issues and also that I am really keen to get it home in one bit before I start tweaking. replacing, repairing bits. The prospect of a 90 mile drive home car that I don't know and I am not insured in is too much potential aggro and stress...........it's not exactly a shrinking violet now is it :) Russ has stepped up to help and his knowledge of Imprezas will be very useful when I'm just dribbling like a fool and giggling at the exhaust :)

Thanks Andy. Didn't know about the engine spec pre 97, nor the turbo spec difference. I have to be honest, I am know at the point of excitement where I could turn up and see that it doesn't even have a turbo and I would still buy it!!

The week is taking soooooooooooooo long! One more hectic day at work and I'll be there!

Valid point. When we picked it up from Southampton we drove it back without insurance which was almost an error because it had loony jap coilovers on it which not only put it on the deck but also gave absolutely no suspension travel at all. Period. I remember driving alongside it on the motorway giggling at how the only thing absorbing anything was the sidewall when it hit a big bump and the front wheels literally came off the floor :smilielol5::smilielol5: And it had no number plates on it either, talk about hot bod. Those crazy younger days.....
