Congratulations mate, great to see a real 80's classic back from the jaws of disaster.
I'd love one myself, good work.

Really really envious of this. Will be an astonishing fun little car when finished.

well the car is pretty much fully prepped and whilst my bro was finishing off the passenger door shut....
I started to play

No grill at the moment as my old one is beyond repair so a new one is coming when i can afford it

Standard bonnet

Bad boy louvered bonnet unknown origin?

Image

Image

Come to the conclusion that it wont be used ever as,
1. the bonnet needs that much repair work i have no energy left to do it
2. it doesn't suit the car imo altho the louvers would of been a good thing for getting heat out
3. my brother hates it and thus wont paint it for me lol

Fingers crossed i get away from doing jury service early tomorrow afternoon as i'm driving it to my bros work for painting and he has the keys so we can pick it up sunday morning :)

He's in the spray booth and oh my god its a big booth indeed so glad we have the keys to the place all weekend so sunday morning he'll be properly dry

Seems like such a luxury to have so much room :D

Anyways pictures as always

Little shot of the stuff they have in for painting etc
They have a few redbull f1 racing units and even a few FIA trucks being worked on and a couple in the other booths

Superb mate. I was worried when I saw the bad-boy bonnet but you've made a great recovery :)
