Your frankness is not only accepted but appreciated sir, I wish everyone could be the same. :)

I completely understand your views on the matter. Not being an expert on such things, I will see if I can get some pics and more details on it and even see if the price is negotiable. May take a few days though as obviously it is not here and my younger brother is not the most reliable person when asked to do things like that.
I may be getting older but I REFUSE to grow up :D

Just a general tip/advice from a motor traders point of view when car buying. A lot of people belive that jan/feb are a good time to buy a car due to people being skint from christmas? Infact it could be this that in truth makes the prices far stronger that they were in the run up to christmas. Myself and several trader buddies have witnessed prices go through the roof this week! I have known this and been part of it for years, yet still it amazes me when it comes around.

Good advice Russ. I'm off to the auctions on Tuesday so that has been great to hear before I buy :)

Alas its the trade/auction prices that are on the up. It dose nt seem to matter if its copart salvage or BCA car auctions. I had my best sales day ever on the 5th of jan several years back.
I think a lot of people (like Stu?) wait till christmas is out of the way to see what pennies they have left, then go out and see what they can buy?

Sorry Stu, I know its bit late now ( did n`t know you were doing the curcuit) The best time to grab a bargain is the couple of weeks before and over the christmas break. Just dont tell anyone else i told you or everyone will catch on!;):D
