you will be amazed and the difference it makes to the look of the car, such a simple mod that really smartens it up :)

Work done at the garage.

Post by Daniel »

Right i dropped the MR2 off at the garage today and had all the work done.

And they also told me where the car was leaking from, the two driveshaft oil seals on the gearbox have sagged a bit over the years and will need replacing at some point (he said it's not causing any harm at the moment) so i'll wait until i have some more cash and have those done as well as having that dry thrust bearing changed. :)

Just by having new disks on the car really makes it look much better over thoe old crusty ones :)

wow i haven't updated this for a while, maybe because it's hasstle free unlike the mini :P

So apart from having a complete service again, buying new tyres all round and stuff, i've been buying bits and pieces :roll: i've bought;

Front and Rear strut braces
REV 5 Spoiler (shown on the photo below, much nicer than my rev3)
Induction kit
New gear knob (pushing the boat out i know)
New dampers

not much, but it's a start!

looks wise i'm going for this;

which i think looks subtly cool nothing ott 8)

oh and when i get my next lot of wages some new Rota grid wheels :thumb:

engine wise, apart from the kit, i'm not going to bother trying to get more power out of it, it's a waste of time and costs a fair bit, soooo next year or so, i'll be taking a trip to fensport and have a turbo engine dropped in :wink:
