Placed my final order this evening for parts. The car was supposed to be finished in 2-3 weeks but the Orange Samco hoses are going to be 6-8 weeks, Im gutted to say the least

They are all one off pipes as its a different engine in the car. Id rather complete it properly than bodge it and the engine to let go because of something so small.

Be honest - how many times have you switched the ignition on and off to watch the gauges................ :-D :-D :-D

Driving a fast Jap import is like coming out of the closet, you might surprise some people, but in the end you are still gay.

My order minus the Silicon hoses has turned up. Tomorrow the car will see daylight for the first time this year.
Planning on fitting my Escort Cosworth EBC Redstuff Pads and EBC discs, fit the exhaust, complete all the wiring and construct some sort of throttle cable.
Im hoping to pick up my crackle blacked strut brace and wiper motor cover later tonight.
Just waiting on the hoses and my Mk2 Golf Bailey header tank, then fingers crossed it will be running :)
