I was at the ring mate, was pushing 115 deg C so was backing off alot.

Its purely the RPMs that give you the massive temps.

Gerry, this kit from TSL is

Certainly was a bargain. I was a bit surprised that you were going elsewhere for kit.

I'm hoping my 130+C temps will be less now that I have a temp gauge that reads realistically.

Gerry, just get one sorted!!! Then you have piece of mind that your oil is always in the optimum temp range!

I was waiting until the next track day, which is the BP evening in August. Since I fitted the new sensor it barely goes over 100C. If it does creep up I'll have a couple of weeks before Silverstone to get it sorted.

Got my new Hyperflow oil cooler today,

Designed to be either front mounted but also comes with brackets to be top mounted under the stock scoop once im runing a FMIC.

The FMIC will happen after WRC Germany but i still think id like it mounted behind my grille.
Looks pretty now but ripe for a bit of painting and polishing IMO

What do ya think ???

Looks like a lovely kit.

I would be wary about mounting it in the TMIC space. I'm sure its been done before and there were problems because there too much head. I seem to remember some non return valves being used to help cure the problems they experienced.

I'll be front mounting it anyway mate.

I think it looks too busy under the bonnet with it mounted on top.

Well with the car gone to Simpson race exhaust to have its new "quiet" exhaust system made, the tuning parts pile inevitably grows.

Todays delivery was my intercooler.

APS DR725
(Got for a steal from a guy in the US with only 1000 miles use on it :D)

Make no mistake guys, this thing is absolutely massive! The core alone without end tanks is 29" long, 9" high and a massive 4.5" thick!!

It weighs in pretty lardy too, if nothing else will help with the cars "turn in" PMSL!!

Its yet to be painted and the stainless pipework will get a polish. I also need to get my other bumper painted :D

Enjoy :D
