kev@tkl wrote:yes mate keeping the nvcs sproocket, i got the tomei springs too not sure which ones gary just clicked on what i needed and i just paid for it lol, when you say rough on idle is that the nvcs or just the cams making it like it mate?
My idle is rough becuase of a shagged valve seat, but with larger cams I think the idle gets more lumpy. I wouldn't worry though, I'm sure Gary can map it out to a degree. It will be interesting to see the results of the 270deg cams, I plan to stick with the 256deg cams, unless you get more power

It's definately worth keeping the NVCS sprocket as well :)

Sod the nVCS

Get a redtop - engine of champions ;) :D

Glad to see it getting closer to how you want it mate.

Be interesting to see how the 270's affect things. We went 264 in the end as the turbo would never support that kind of duration, If I need to get 550bhp then maybe we'll chuck on a GT35 and run it up to 9500rpm !!!

:D :D :D
I have issues !!! :ack2:....I used to be average, now I reminisce !!!
