Lets hope so.....

The only problem for me is that one of Alan's dream cars is the RS500 Touring car. They used the 200 block:willy_nilly:
The only thing i'm hearing from Alan now is "So when we getting 500bhp"....I always knew that he had a tentative grip on reality but i think the thin line has finally snapped:bart:

Oh....and he is such a brummie....was talking to him about beefing up the security for the car, wheel clamps, removing battery etc. and Alan came out with a classic, 'I was thinking of taking the wheels off and leaving it on bricks':smilielol5:.

i agree with you russ on this one mate.
i look on life as every cloud has a silverlining like this block situation as a example we were looking to go 200 later on in the development and as you say russ its turned up now.

we have had 2 major failures with this engine so if we work on folosaphy of every cloud this is how i look at it:-

1. same problem with the engine happens, yes frustraiting but at least it happened at gordons and not out on track or driving to bed the engine in.

2. as with most things in life as you go along you get bad luck along the way and with the bad luch we've had recently the law of avarages should give us a good run of good luck for the future.
