Right well a couple of things have cropped up now that are completely unforeseen and might put an end to the mapping for me :(

Firstly the fpr I have we tested and it won't make more than 30psi. The stock pressure is 38psi so it's not fuelling enough :( it's a fuelab fpr so I'm a bit pssed if its faulty. They already sent the wrong one when I ordered but this was rectified (so I thought).

Secondly the fkin exhaust doesn't all line up. We have tried another mid pipe but its a gap of about an inch. Basically it looks like the downside isn't long enough. Again annoyed as I thought this was a bolt and play kit :( have asked the seller if I can buy the midpipe they had on the car with the kit. Failing that we were thinking of buying a flange and a couple of gaskets and bolting that between them. Good idea ?

The good news is it has some oil in it now and the other niggling bits are sorted. Just need some power steering pipe and intake piping and fix the other stuff then it should be there. Doesn't look good for wed though :(

Well after an absolutely mammoth day spent on the car I have good news and bad news.....

Good news is :
1, the exhaust stuff is done now and fitted well with the flange and couple of gaskets acting as a spacer.
2, The power steering is also just looped using some hose and when I get a bit more of the same hose then it will have a Driftworks cooler in it......damn them for only providing 1.5m and not 2m !
3, The intake pipework is all done and finished.
4, It has oil and power steering fluid in the car and I have the coolant ready to put in tomorrow.

Now for the bad news.....
1, the fueling is not right, I cannot increase the base pressure up to 38-40psi. I have tried swapping fuel pumps, taking the FPR apart and cleaning, undoing all the lines from the rails and doing them back up and I even bought another FPR as thats what the conclusion seemed to be......but no it still isnt working meaning I cant fire it up :(
2, There is a vband from the wastegate to the downpipe that I dont think is tight enough, its as much as I can do it but it doesnt look as tight as the manifold to wastegate.....yes I know they might be different pipe diameters but still. Oh and the manifold to wastegate one is rounded so I couldnt undo it and didnt notice this when I had it off the car :(

Overall a bit pssed off that I couldnt get it ready despite many hours of blood, sweat, tears and most importantly money ! Hopefully Jaydee will be able to spend some time tomorrow having a look after the rest of you chaps are finished. Its probably something simple of stupid that I have done.

Anyway I was feeling really fked off with it until I did the intake piping and it couldnt help but bring a smile to my face.....

I have no idea about rotaries but could the low fuel pressure not be related to a blocked fuel filter.

It's a good shout Pabs and is something I haven't checked as its a
B'sted to get to. Dom also suggested that or the fuel filter cap.

Looks really awesome dude. Can you not start it at all then? Did you remove the stock fpr?

Have you got any ducting going to that cooler mate? Doesn't look like its going to get much airflow behind the bumper?

Chris, no base pressure is 38-40psi so it is too low and yes I have removed the stock fpr as its bolted onto the secondary rail which has gone.

Yep ducting is on the list of jobs to do after I get it mapped and roadworthy. Ran out of time to do it before.

Gonna have a look in the garage as I'm sure I bought a fuel filter in one of the many shopping for bargains on fduk or mrc a few years ago.
