So what's the next venue on the agenda?

and at a guess on a higher boost setting how much quicker do you think you would have been at Snet'?
[img] Q. If you were stranded on a desert island, who would you rather be stranded with....Ray Mears or Bear Grylls?

A. No question....Ray Mears....you could make a shit load more stew out of that tubby little fecker [/img]

Re- Driving wobbly.
We still get this when driving on the road after being on track and thats on 205s and what we found was that it is caused (in our case),by bobbling on the tyres from track driving. It stops once the tyres clean up.

Yeah I did think it might be that, and it still could, but it's 100 odd miles back to mine from Snett and was prob worse by the time I got back into London. Could be the bearing or hicas lock rose joint. We'll see. Interesting that you get it after track tyre wear too tho...

Hoping to do Daves evening at Bedford later this month and Goodwood in July. But also want to get a snett in aswell as makes sense to go to back there to have a practice, plus it's one of my faves.

No idea chief, as I can never make my racebox thing work I never get lap times so not got a clue how much difference it would make.

Impressed with that Christian, very impressed  If the clock wasn't running to say otherwise, lap two looked so much faster than lap one.......and it was lovely to see what I thought I would see with you driving cleanly; fast and consistent, with the odd flourish of oversteer :D

I must admit to thinking that I hoped that the car would pull harder but then the lower boost settings will be at play there (please tell me that I read you were on lower boost otherwise I've just upset a mate!).

I couldn't help comparing your 2.10.45 against the TA boys from 2012 :smash:

You would have been 7th overall in the club and club pro final times, which I think bearing in mind you were still wearing trainers, had Malc talking to you, had run loads and loads of laps, running lower boost on road tyres AND had to drive home afterwards..........well, I think it's pretty bloody epic

Just how quick would you be with practice at having both hands on the wheel? ;)

Don't worry mate I'm not upset :) Yes i was running low boost all day, basically 1 bar against 1.7 full boost and full power so should make a significant difference to lap times and I can verify that she pulls much harder with some proper boost her arse

But cheers, I also had a look at the TA times as it makes a good comparison. More boost should make a lot of difference, and as you rightly say, a bit more practice driving with both hands (must taken that spinner off the wheel) should also find me some time. The data loging stuff said a 2.08 was possible - I think that was what I'd have done had I got all my best sectors in one lap

I'm going to get some data logging stuff as I found it really valuable looking at it - saying that, I probably wont know how to work it :poota:
