Good luck guys, I think it's really really important you've made a sensible decision and are getting on with it.

personally think TA has lost its ethos and simply become a "cheque book" race series............

here we go again hoping this time we will be lucky with the rebuild of the engine.
didnt get the block back till midday but as soon was in the unit was straight on it, got all parts out ready to be put back together.
while gordon was fitting the crank and pistons i worked around him doing other things.
block back with sleeve fitted

crank and pistons in, oil pump fitted

sump back on

engine mounts, water pipes, oil pipe, power steering pump all back on

gordon sorting out head ready to be fitted back on

head on all torquered down and pully all fitted an together with cam belt

after 6 hours work this is the stage we are at now
shouldnt be to long hopefully till its back in the car, still loads to do

i forgot to put up and pablo has reminded me that the block to have to sleeve and rehonned cost

Some progress is better than no progress though mate. Is Gordon confident it can all get done in time?
