i had cobra bucket recliners in mine, and they looked smart. but i found them very uncomfortable to sit in and drive.

the seat sits to high because of the transmission tunnel on the drivers side. so i went back to my std seats best thing i did.

heres a pic of them in my R

them cobra recliners do look smart,, i really dont want the seats to be sitting any higher than the standard ones as my heads on the roof when i got my lid on already , but im guessing this problem is because i have a sunroof (same as you i belive) ,, there must be a way of chopping/fabricating the seats/runners to get them dropped a little, something i have to look at..

and JJ you know you want to

i had real trouble with them recliners as im a bit of a fat bastid, i kinda sat with the steering wheel in between my legs.

if you have a look underneath the seat (STD) the runner is nearly sitting on the transmission tunnel. i would say spend the money on brakes then handling.

here is another pic with me sitting on the cobras, and you get to see my fat legs are vertually rubbing on the steering wheel:)

im also larger than the average bear
brakes are already done with wilwood midilites and i have done the suspension with kg mm springs and whiteline rear rollbar, but tein or d2 coilovers are oh so tempting

its only panel damage i think, it still drives alright, if they write it off i'l buy it back and repair it myself , either way it will return hopefully, failing that i would get another and have plenty of spares and goodies.
