thanks very much - i'm still quite pleased that it's not such a common colour either. Did have reservations for a few minutes about wine red / burgundy / red pearl or as J now calls it muscadet red / shiraz red ... you get the pic.

Thought I would add a quick update about where I am with my GTR now.

Some of you have probably seen my thread with regards the car not running, well instead of replacing parts like for like I've used this as an opportunity to get those bits that I've planned for a little while.

So since it broke down, I now have the rather nice looking red grounding kit. Will be fitting a full set of Splitfire coilpacks. Once it is up and running again the next stage is to look to the new ecu, boost controller and mapping to 400 BHP.

No new exterior mods - I must admit that I'm so tempted to have it stripped down and resprayed in the orginal colour but with a red pearl to the laquer.

2007 will hopefully be the year that I bring my car upto show room / show standard. I want to win some awards !!!.

Cheers for that, just a further update I have a nice shiny set of splitfires sat infront of me now - and they claim - the product not me ... that splitfires give an extra 7 BHP ... WOW .. :)
