They're quite rare, I wanted to get the 4x100 option but they're even bloody rarer! Had to opt for the 4x114.3 but they're 7JJ and +11 offset. They need to be refurbished as the one of the lips is the tiniest bit bent, need new split rim bolts too. Won the bid at £55, including shipping, buyers tax and import duty bumped it to the £200 mark. Buying them direct from SSR would cost $540 PER WHEEL.

I'll definitely need some Britemax Twins for them and the Blitz BRW 02's polished lip

Busy month!

Bought the following:-

- Hard top at bargain price
- Garage Vary Winding Dancer Front Bumper (pretty sure it's a copy but it's a damn good copy). Bought it for function rather than form but should look good in the colour I've chosen. Image 1. Image 2. Image 3. Image 4.
- SSR MK1 were finally delivered. Have bought new valves, centre caps and spigot rings.
- 4x100 - 4x114.3 20mm adapters
- 1.8 Manifold + downpipe
- New aluminium radiator
- MK2 OEM small sideskirts
- HSD MonoPro coilovers
- Beatrush Boss Cover
- Beatrush Type E gear knob
- ERD Lug Nuts

I've also done the following:-
- Removed the soft top completely
- Removed the heat shield on the exhaust as it's beyond repair
- Replaced rocker cover gasket as it was shagged
- Somehow damaged the radiator so it empties itself about once a week. No worries, replacement aluminium radiator and manifold+downpipe are going on next weekend.

I've pretty much sourced all the parts I need for when the car gets the rust and paint done.

I've started the process of rebuilding the SSR MK1's but I have to get them refurbed as there's a few chunks missing. The one on the right is after a good clean and rust treatment, the one on the left is as I bought it.

Something sexy turned up last week and after much swearing, I finally fitted them (yes by myself). HSD MonoPro coilovers!

I went to visit my good man Ryan at Autotest (where Gedge had his M3 aligned) and asked him to adjust the height of the coilovers and fast road & track alignment. Incredibly good price at a smidgen over £100 - both the alignment and labour of adjusting the coilovers.

Settings before the alignment:

During the alignment:

After the alignment (will take a better picture soon):

Now the only issue I currently have is the fact that the rear camber is -3.00 degree, and that's with the upper arm adjusted as much as it can go. I've got to source some adjustable camber arms which can handle both +/-3.00 degree at least. My aim is to have -1.15 degree for the fast road & track setting.

I made a boo-boo.

Now I've got to jack the car up, remove the wheels and see if the hub/rear assembly is bent. If it is, I'll order a new hub for Monday/Tuesday as I'm replacing the rear discs & pads on Wednesday.

 That looks like it could have been so much worse than it appears to be. May be worth having the alignment re-checked after you've checked the hub.

Ran around like a headless chicken today trying to find 2 x 15" tyres I could fit on my original wheels and finally found some. Doing this meant I didn't have time to check the hub so that'll be tomorrows job. And I think the alignment is a tad out which is a bummer as I only had it done about a month ago.
