336 miles and I'm in love

It was tattier than the photo's showed but as soon as I saw Frank sitting there, so tough in his stance, that was it!!

A full report tomorrow. I left Torquay at just after 7pm and I'm fooked.

5.28!!??

Jesus :)

A brief recap with the assistance of pictures

My adventure would start with the realisation that the trip between Torquay and Norwich is not one to be taken lightly. Maybe I should have considered that before I hit the eBay button of doom. When Google maps tells you that it's 326 miles you can bet on it being another 10% on top......my mind was starting to go into spasms thinking about towing there and back, train and coach trips would take weeks. Mr Booker, my regular 'oh shit look what I've bought, do you fancy helping me?' partner in crime had some time off so we talked about a Jag road trip but the costs involved were a deterrent. One juicy Jag on 326 miles would be bad enough. Two juicy Jags exploring the envelope of performance over 978 would be ruinous

Gerry and I had the same idea

Suits your stature a little better than the Golf

The XJ6 of the 70s used to go bloody well and handle too.
