looking good trev :wink: regarding the wheels i have a set coming soon from a mk2 which are 15" whether they would clear your brakes i don't know but you are more than welcome to try them when they arrive . i also have a set of ats clubman wheels you may try aswell .

cheers jason i'l bear you in mind about the wheels

problem i have is not the spokes to close or caliper to close to inner rim

its caliper hitting the main bit of the wheel (the bit that sits on the hub) there bloody huge on these wheels , i thought about grinder on the caliper but stopped myself, it is only just catching :lol:

i take from what you are saying is that the wheel hub has a greater diameter than the brake disc if so i can check this next week and let you know .

cant be done with spacers stuart unless i went about 40mm :(

its hard to explain but the hub of the wheel is huge and bigger than the centre of the disc i know they usually are but this is extreme :lol: especially when i have even gone up in disc size from 239 to 256mm , if i had gone bigger to say 280 there would not have been a problem , sods law

How about a local engineering shop to turn down the excess?

I have the opposite with my APs. I can't have stick on weights on the inside because the calipers clear by only a couple of mms

the wheels are pretty naff anyway so i'l keep my eye out for a cheap set for now, long term im still going with the compomotives when the track widening happens

hopefully rim problems are sorted out now in the shape of these bad boys

looking forward to getting them on and cleaned , i was planning on giving them a lick of white paint but there in such good nick i dont know now
they come with a set of michelin pilots that i shall pop on just so i can get on track asap with it
as soon as my boys bedroom is finished being plastered and decorated its full steam ahead on the golf :thumb:
