Tonight I needed to fabricate some heat shields for the exhaust where it comes through the sill, started off with some 4" pipe cut to shape

Welded on a 2cm flange and drilled holes to attach it to the car

Then had to shoot down to the spray shop to pick up the hood which was still in the oven when I arrived at 9pm, couldn't moan as they were doing me a favour. Brought the hood back to the workshop and fitted it

More to come before the weekend, will post as I do the final bits

Driving a fast Jap import is like coming out of the closet, you might surprise some people, but in the end you are still gay.

That's the first time that Tan has taken any interest in a thread on here...........ever!! :)

That looks amazing. The most imposing front end I can remember seeing and knowing it's backed up by 800 odd horsepower. Mental.

Best of luck for tomorrow. I take it this is being properly featured in a magazine soon mate?

All done, MOT and taxed :hurray:

Pity it was raining but driving it about today has been a giggle

I'm happy to have finished the car, it seems weird that this will be one of the last times I post on this thread.

Still, on the up side I can start new threads on race days and let you know how she handles, times etc

I hope you have enjoyed the journey sorry it took so long

It's been an experience

Fucking epic :D
The last time you'll post in this project? You are joking? You'll got out, run a low 10 or something and then it will all start again.

It's been emotional

Chuffed for you. Genuinely chuffed :D
