Nice to see that this will be a 'no frills' project as it's all the more likely to get finished and used :)

Keep us posted on any developments please

Park it on the drive, put a cover over it for a week and see what happens....I reckon you'll be tinkering in no time, and will have it back on track by the end of the month

Cheers Bud

having proper sense of humour failiure, although the quotes from various tub kit companies coming in from around the world with promises of 20psi by 4k are starting to pull me out of this hooooooge strop! Not that i want them too.....

Think stroked RB28, Nitro-meth' fuelled twin charged T88/Rotrex with quad nitrous....once you've done all that then I'll take it p/x for my Hilux...... ;)

Fingers in ears, not listening.....

BUT, have been speaking to Geoff at Full Race in the US. These new BW EFR tubbies sound the nuts, he reckons they'll do 1.4 bar almost 1000rpm sooner than my HKS tubs and that is a serious improvement....

another twin set up or go single? if they boost that early i think i'll twin it up :P

Quick update on progress, although I still haven't actually put a full spec up here which I ought too.

Cage Painted, rear bulk head painted and sealed. Injectors in, Syvex ECU (proper quality bit of kit) on and mapped up, AVCR binned (well about to go up for sale) as new rotary Knob does it all now, Power FC also going up for sale, Also ducted the turbos and brakes. Discovered at Brands that the Sump kit and mod has totally solved the oil surge issues, pressure stayed right up regardless of what I did.

Now on the look out for a bad boy new Turbo set up. The HKS GT2540s made 600BHP at just 1.4 bar but loads of shuffle caused turbo stall and prevented higher boost which has irritated me a bit.

So my current decision is, do I put a new turbo set up on the car, twins or a single, or do I sell it as I'm getting fed up never getting any track time for constanlty fixing/improving the car.....?
