As a skyline owner yourself you will know that if i get it finished and decide to sell it, The sum of the parts will be more than i would get as a whole car. Possibly worth 12 - 14k to the right person when its completed as i hope to have a healthy 600hp.
If it never gets back on the road then its in many parts at the moment, and would make more sense just to give up and sell all the bits. Based on what i made from the shell of my written off r32 i estimate

PMSL if i had a quid for every time !!!!RX7 wrote:What sort of horsepower will it be Jay ?
Gareth as i am sure you know i will be guessing if i put up some expected figures.
However the facts are
That turbo is a Garrett series 2 TO4Z exact copy of the series 1 hks TO4Z that has now been replaced.
Garrett had figures of 650 to 750 as a flow rate and it all depends on how the rest of the build takes the big turbo.
It has enough fuel supply and enough injector capacity And d-jetro pfc
The main restrictors i think will be a couple of parts i cheapskated on to get it running
Wastegate and manifold and still has std coilpacks
also the choice of cams ismore suited to smaller twins. If it breaks the 600 mark then thats me happy.
Nice to see so many peeps interested though and thanks for all the support guys heaven knows i have needed it at times.

Its easy to get disheartened with cars mate, I've been there when I took mine to be mapped and the 2nd turbo wouldnt work.....was gutted as it was a long drive specially to get it mapped.
But when it all works again its great and the waiting is soon forgotten. I think when the end is in sight it makes it even worse !!!
Glad it's finally there though mate and hopefully not long.
Nickhasl....it actually says 700bhp in a later post so :P (but I should have read the front page)
