Not a bad example at all. The guy who used to own this is the dad of Nathan on this site. It's always been well looked after, but it has been used to it's full potential.

It used to have a full decat, which was then replaced for a sports cat, at the time it was running about 325bhp IIRC. Plenty of static revving of the engine to produce the flames for the crowds, which I'm not sure is a good thing or not but there we go.

It doesn't quite seem right without all the graphics on as it was one of the most distinctive cars in Scoobycity but I'm sure you'll give it your own personal touch. It's been up for sale for quite a while with all the graphics on, but it's no real surprise to see it sold with the graphics off as they're not to everyone's tastes :)

I for one witnessed that ... At least you've got a warranty!! .. I remember seeing this at a clive attowes day being revved constantely for about 20 minutes to get a flame !!! ... I was waiting for the pop of the engine to be quite honest.

Nice looking car 8)

Don't expect miracles from the AWD, especially in standard form. It would probably be a good idea to get it on track to find out how it really handles, with the previously mentioned lift off oversteer and power understeer, before trying it on the Winter 'twisties'
Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away!

thanks gerry i will certainly take it easy to start with as it is a different kettle of fish compaired to my little 380bhp rwd datsun lol, if my datsun isnt ready in time i will take the scooby to marham :-D my first impressions of it in the wet was it was very stable got a bit of tramling though but i think that might of been down to the worn front tyres, anyway will look forward to having a play soon it will be nice to see the difference between my s14a rwd and this awd but i know what you mean they are under powered in standard trim

No aftermarket remap, just the PPP

Yeah, PPP stands for Prodrive Performance Package which was a warranty approved upgrade that could be fitted either at the time of ordering or at a later date by the dealer. It consisted of different intercooler pipework, a different exhaust backbox and a slightly more agressive map on the ECU.

There weren't massive power gains for the cost of it ~
